Fireworks, gunpowder, music and theatrics... Festivals in the land of Valencia are colourful, ostentatious and are made to be celebrated in the street. Fiestas can almost be felt in the air and visitors are always made to feel welcome.  

There are festivities including fireworks such as the Fallas and the Hogueras de San Juan. 

Spectacular parades during the Moors and Christians feasts, festivities such as Misteri d'Elx and pilgrimages such as Magdalena. 

Each season has it's fiesta, either to celebrate historical facts, popular customs, legendary figures, religious rites or changes in natural cycles.
